There will still be regular ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ updates next year.
The game was released earlier this year, and it proved to be a hit. It ended up selling over 26 million copies in between March 2020 and September 2020, which is twice the amount that it’s predecessor - ‘ Animal Crossing: New Leaf’ - sold!
The game has received regular seasonal updates since it launched, and it has been confirmed that this will carry on in 2021.
Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser stated in an interview with Polygon: “We definitely see that continuing."
