Xbox Gaming Gift Guide: ‘Tell me Why’, ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ and more

Christmas is nearly here: if you need to get a last-minute gift for an Xbox fan in your family, we have a list of some of the best Xbox titles that were released this year.

Our first recommendation is ‘Tell Me Why’ (which is also available on PC): a good choice for gamers that want a game that’s more narrative-focused. It’s by the same developers that made the popular game ‘Life is Strange’. The story (which is split over three episodes) follows twins Tyler and Alyson reuniting after 10 years apart, and is about them coming to terms with their childhood trauma, specifically the death of their mother.

The next game on the list is the 2020 release of ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’: the eleventh major entry in the Microsoft Flight Simulator series. The title (which is available on Xbox One and PC) may sound like an odd game, but it received a lot of praise when it was released and proved to be popular: with people heaping praise on how highly detailed the game is.

‘Grounded’ is our third recommendation: despite being in early access it can still be purchased, and players have seemed to enjoy the game despite it not being 100 per cent complete as of yet. ‘Grounded’ (which is also available on PC) is a first-person multiplayer survival-adventure, in which the characters get shrunken down to the size of an ant, and now must try to survive the dangers that lurk in the garden.

Our final recommendation is ‘Bleeding Edge’: a multiplayer online combat video game which is available on Xbox One and PC. The brawler is set in 2057 and people are enhancing themselves with cybernetic parts: players have 12 characters to choose from, and each has their own fighting style, and they have to work with their three teammates to beat the enemy group.
