GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Called For The Execution Of Clinton, Pelosi & Obama In Facebook Posts

DALLAS, GA - OCTOBER 15: Georgia Republican House candidate Marjorie Taylor Greene and Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) arrive at a press conference in a Humvee during which Greene endorsed Loeffler on October 15, 2020 in Dallas, Georgia. Greene has...

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, (R-Georgia) posted multiple comments demanding the execution of various Democrats – and liked several hundreds more – on her Facebook page in 2018 and 2019.

Greene is a notable supporter of QAnon conspiracy theories. Long before she was in office, the representative engaged with other believers of the debunked conspiracy on Facebook to share in their belief that a “deep state” of government officials is abusing children and that former President Donald Trump is the only one who can stop them.

In January 2019, Greene liked a post on the removal of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi saying that “a bullet to the head would be quicker.”

In April 2018, Greene’s account responded to a message asking if former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton should be hanged, saying, “Stage is being set. Players are being put in place. We must be patient. This must be done perfectly or liberal judges would let them off.”

Greene has since posted a statement to her personal Twitter account where she explained that her Facebook has been run by various people even though she was a private person in 2018 and had not announced her House run yet.

“Over the years, I’ve had teams of people manage my pages. Many posts have been liked. Many posts have been shared. Some did not represent my views. Especially the ones that CNN is about to spread across the internet,” she said.

Greene has not specifically mentioned what posts do not align with her views.

Greene faced criticism last week after calling the 2018 Parkland shooting a “false flag” event to force tighten gun restrictions. She also specifically targeted Parkland survivor David Hogg calling him “#littlehitler” and helped spread conspiracy theories saying Hogg was an actor hired by the federal government.

In a video posted to Facebook in 2019, Greene herself made the following statement about House Pelosi: “She took an oath to protect American citizens and uphold our laws. And she gives aid and comfort to our enemies who illegally invade our land. That’s what treason is. And by our law representatives and senators can be kicked out and no longer serve in our government. And it’s, uh, it’s a crime punishable by death is what treason is. Nancy Pelosi is guilty of treason.”
