FaZe Clan Adds Twistzz To Its CS:GO Team Roster

Canadian professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken has joined North American CS:GO team FaZe Clan.

Canadian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional player Russel David Kevin Van Dulken, who is better known as Twistzz recently joined the North American-based esports team, FaZe Clan.

Dulken Van joined the amateur tram Tectonic back in 2015 and since then he has been playing professional CS: GO. Before joining Team Liquid, he played for several mid-tier teams.

Liquid Becomes One Of The Best North American CS:GO Teams

After he joined Liquid, the team emerged as one of the best teams in North American CS: GO. Over the years, Dulken Van has become a big name in the gaming industry.

However, North American CS: GO has seen a major decline since offline events were shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic. This led to several teams refrained from returning to international play, and continued playing within their region.

Enough teams are playing in Europe to counterbalance the lack of offline events; while North America is still trying to make ends meet. When the scene started to die out, several professional players moved on and joined first-person hero shooter Valorant.

Nick Cannella Aka nitr0 is another player from the original Liquid roster who left CS: GO to join the 100 Thieves Valorant roster.

Twistzz Headed To Europe

Dulken Van became the first North American CS:GO player to join FaZe Clan since the team was formed back in 2016. Over the years, various nationalities have been a part of the American-based team, but he's the first Canadian to join. Plus, right now he is the only player who is active from Canada in European CS: GO.

Liquid replaced Dulken Van with Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo after acquiring him from MIBR. Dulken Van exited the active roster in Dec.

As part of a mutual agreement between the two parties. Dulken Van thanked his team for what it had done for him in the past three years. He's replacing Nikola “NiKo” Kovač who left FaZe Clan to join rival team G2 Esports.
