Vanessa Morgan's son is called River.

The 'Riverdale' star and her estranged husband Michael Kopech welcomed their baby into the world last month and she has now shared the first picture of their tot and confirmed his moniker.

She wrote: "The most challenging, beautiful experience of my life. On January 29th, Michael & I Welcomed our beautiful baby boy River into the world. Words cannot describe this kind of love. We are enjoying this time home with him, being present, & giving him all the lovin in the world ... Becoming parents is the most rewarding gift in the entire world. Thankyou God ... Isaiah 66:9. Late last month, a source confirmed Vanessa had given birth to a baby boy.

They shared: "Vanessa had the baby, and Michael is with her as well. They're both thrilled."

Meanwhile, Vanessa previously confessed she feels ten times more tired at work because of her pregnancy as she hailed other working mothers on social media.

She wrote on her Instagram Story: "Shout out to all the pregnant mommas workin full time jobs. All I know is growing a human makes me 10x more tired at work so just wanted to say each and every one of you are so friggen incredible and strong [clapping emoji and love heart emojis] (sic)"

The actress announced her pregnancy back in July.

She wrote: "Was debating keeping this part of my life hidden but I knew people would see pictures eventually with my belly and I wanted you guys to hear it from me. I do want to keep this chapter of my life private but did want to be the first to share the news. I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January. It's almost like everything I thought mattered in this life has completely changed. We're here for such a greater purpose and life is so precious.

"I'm just so happy and can't wait to dedicate every day to being the best mommy I can be. 'I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be' – if you know you know. (sic)"
