Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in the US can save 30 percent off the Nintendo Entertainment Controllers.
The offer is available for a limited time only and can be used with the classic titles on the Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online collection of games.
The gaming giant has announced that the 30 percent discount ends on May 4, 2021, at 11.59pm. The controllers are currently available for $41.99.
In a statement about the features, Nintendo explained: "Rechargeable Battery – The Nintendo Entertainment System controllers can be paired and used wirelessly with Nintendo Switch Lite. However, a Nintendo Switch console with detached Joy-Con is required to charge the controllers."
The company added: "Two Controllers – Available as a set of two controllers for competitive and cooperative fun."
Meanwhile, Shuntaro Furukawa recently announced that Nintendo intends to focus on creating original games.
The company president gave an insight into Nintendo's long-term plan, revealing the tech firm will focus its attention on developing new titles.
He said: "In the future, we will focus on creating new game series as well as long-sellers such as 'Mario' and 'Zelda'."
Shuntaro also touched on the company’s hardware plans for the future, saying: "We are constantly building up ideas for the new consoles the market is expecting."
