Fortnite: 100 Thieves Re-Sign MrSavage

MrSavage, one of Europe’s best Fortnite players, is sticking with 100 Thieves.

DreamHack Anaheim Champion Martin “MrSavage” Foss Andersen has re-signed with 100 Thieves, both parties announced today. Their exciting news accompanied a video dedicated to the young Fortnite Battle Royale star, where he explained his background in Fortnite and gaming. MrSavage joined the California-based esports organization in February 2020, shortly after leaving NRG Esports.

The then 15-year-old went on to win DreamHack Anaheim, Fortnite’s most significant LAN event since the inaugural World Cup. He overcame some of the world’s best players and made history mere days after joining 100 Thieves. It’s been quite a run for the Norweigan player.

The organization took to Twitter with its announcement and a brief statement.

“We’re thrilled to share that @MrSavage has re-signed with 100 Thieves! #100T

Martin, we’re happy to have you part of the team and are so excited for more adventures to come. Hope you enjoy the gift.”

100 Thieves’ Founder and CEO - Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag - also personally followed through on his promise to send MrSavage a diamond-studded 100T pendant as a sort of reinitiation into the organization. The Norweigan remains 100 Thieves’ only European Fortnite player. MrSavage has qualified for all five Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) Finals since Chapter 2 - Season 2 but has yet to claim victory.

He’ll look to add the Axe of Champions to his trophy case in Chapter 2 - Season 6, where he and fellow Norwegians Endre “NVD Endretta” Byre and Oscar "Refsgaard" Dalgas Refsgaard hope to overcome some of Europe’s best competitors. MrSavage remains in good company alongside Diego “Arkhram” Lima, Brendan “Falconer” Falconer and Brodie “rehx” Franks.
