A dominant performance from Arcitys sees him take the Stage 3 POTS.
Atlanta FaZe took home the Stage 3 Major, and in dominant fashion too. The whole squad was firing on all cylinders throughout the Stage, however, it was Arcitys who truly dominated. As one of the best AR players in the game, Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson tore through FaZe’s opponents and was awarded Player of the Stage.
Arcitys’ Dominance
Arcitys has always been known as one of the best Assault Rifle players in the game. However, he struggled in Stage 2. In his post-game interview, he expressed how some social media comments had gotten to him. Lighting the fire underneath him to prove them wrong. Prove them wrong is exactly what he did. He put up a 1.17 overall K/D throughout Stage 3.
A 1.18 in Hardpoint, 1.14 in Search and Destroy and 1.16 in Control saw Arcitys be a consistent force for the Atlanta FaZe squad — and the biggest factor in their Major win. While players such as Simp, aBeZy and Cellium may get more spotlight than Arcitys, his consistent slaying was essential to their wins and sees him deservedly awarded POTS.
Following their 5-2 win in the Major, Atlanta FaZe will look to go back-to-back, and continue this form going into Stage 4.
