Apple Watch users can control it through small hand gestures

Apple Watch users are able to control it through small hand gestures.

The technology company have unveiled their new Assistive Touch features for their Apple Watch, which allows you to operate it without ever needing to touch the watch's display.

This will allow people to answer a call on their watch just by moving your index finger and thumb together, whilst others may wish to reply to a message by just clenching their fist.

Sarah Herrlinger, Apple's senior director of Global Accessibility Policy and Initiatives, said: "At Apple, we've long felt that the world's best technology should respond to everyone's needs, and our teams work relentlessly to build accessibility into everything we make. With these new features, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation with next-generation technologies that bring the fun and function of Apple technology to even more people - and we can't wait to share them with our users."

Apple are also working on making their devices more user friendly for all and recently unveiled eye-tracking support for their iPad range as well as extra features for their VoiceOver software, which allows people with limited vision to have their screen read to them.
