Xbox and Bethesda set to hold joint conference

Xbox and Bethesda are set to hold a joint conference over the summer.

The two gaming brands are set to team-up at the E3 2021 stage, where they will be uniting to show off their new video games, according to Xbox Game Studios boss Matt Booty, who has revealed the news to French newspaper Le Figaro.

Microsoft acquired Bethesda earlier this year and the firms are now joining forces to promote their new titles.

However, it's not yet known when they will host their joint conference - though the news will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

And while the companies have broadly remained tight-lipped about their plans, Xbox is set to reveal new details about games such as 'Halo Infinite' and 'Fable 4'.

Bethesda, on the other hand, could make announcements about games such as 'Starfield', 'The Elder Scrolls 6' and 'Deathloop'.

Earlier this month, meanwhile, it was revealed that Xbox expected 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2' and 'Metroid Prime 4' to be released last year.

The brand's business boss Lori Wright testified in the ongoing Apple vs. Epic court case, and a redacted internal Microsoft document was entered into evidence.

A slide called 'Worldwide High-Profile Competitive Console Exclusives' listed the two games among ones they believed would be launching in 2019-2020.
