Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds have tied the knot in a super-secret ceremony in London.
The UK Prime Minister and Carrie, 33, got married in front a small number of close friends and family at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday (29.05.21).
A source close to Carrie told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "They are both absolutely thrilled.
"The whole thing has been conducted amid great secrecy and planned meticulously. It was just their secret and that made the day so special."
The conservationist wore a flowing white dress and the loved-up duo shared a kiss after they exchanged vows.
They were joined at the cathedral by their 13-month-old son Wilfred, as well as Boris’s dad Stanley and sister Julia.
Boris has become the first UK Prime Minister to tie the knot while in office in nearly 200 years, and a member of staff has admitted to being surprised by the super-secret wedding.
The staff member said: "I was shocked when I heard who was getting married. It was kept very quiet. We only knew yesterday. Security has been tight."
Meanwhile, another member of staff revealed the couple looked "besotted" with each other on their big day.
They shared: "Yes, there was a wedding - it was the Prime Minister. His bride looked beautiful. She had a long dress with no veil. She looked made up.
"He was extremely happy, as you can imagine. He looked very smart in a very dapper suit.
"She came down the aisle and he didn’t take his eyes off her. They read their vows then shared a kiss. They looked besotted."
Boris was previously married to Allegra Mostyn-Owen between 1987 and 1993, and to lawyer Marina Wheeler between 1993 and last year.
The Prime Minister and Carrie had their first child together last April, shortly after he returned to work after being diagnosed with coronavirus and receiving treatment at an intensive care unit in London.
