Roadmap of Stage 2 of the Rainbow Six 2021 Esports Season

The Six Invitational is over with Ninjas In Pyjamas conquering the title of the World Champions. And even though S.I is the biggest event throughout the season there’s plenty of more coming right up. It is time to meet and greet Stage 2 of Rainbow Six 2021 Esports Season.

Stage 2 includes 4 regional leagues that will lead to the major in August and here’s a schedule and key information of the games that await us.

European League

European League kicks off on June 17th and will run until July 26th. Featuring a Single round-robin league format and a Bo1 with no draws. The total prize pool for R6EUL is €50,000. The teams participating are BDS, G2 Esports, Natus Vincere, Team Empire, Team Secret, Team Vitality, Virtus.pro, Cowana Gaming, Rogue, and TrainHard.

  • Week 2: Playday 2 – Monday, June 21st
  • Week 3 (super week):
  • Playday 3 – Monday, June 28th
  • Playday 4 – Thursday, July 1st
  • Week 4: Playday 5 – Monday, July 5th
  • Week 5 (super week):
  • Playday 6 – Monday, July 12th
  • Playday 7 – Thursday, July 15th
  • Week 6: Playday 8 – Monday, July 19th
  • Week 7: Playday 9 – Monday, July 26th

All matches will begin at 6 PM CEST with the pre-show starting at 5:15 PM CEST.

North American League

North American League will run from June 15th to July 28th and shares the same format as the European League. Single round-robin league format and matches are Bo1 with a total prize pool of $50,000. The teams in the NA region are DarkZero Esports, Disrupt Gaming, Oxygen Esports, Spacestation Gaming, Susquehanna Soniqs, Team SoloMid, beastcoast, XSET, and Mirage.

All matches will begin at 4 PM ET/1 PM PT with the pre-show starting at 3:30 PM ET/ 12:30 PM PT.

Asia-Pacific League (North Division)

North Division of Asia-Pacific League will run from June 16th to July 21st. Single round-robin league format and matches are Bo1 with a total prize pool of $41,000. The teams in the North Division are Cloud9, CYCLOPS athlete gaming, Fnatic, FAV gaming, GUTS Gaming, DAMWON Gaming, Talon Esports, and T1.

All matches will begin at 6:30 PM SGT with the pre-show starting at 6:00 PM SGT.

Asia-Pacific League (South Division)

South Division of the Asia-Pacific League will run from June 17th to July 22nd. Single round-robin league format and matches are Bo1 with a total prize pool of $41,000. The teams in the South Division are QConfirm, Elevate, Seventh Heaven, Chiefs Esports Club, Knights, ORDER, Wildcard Gaming. There used to be ex-Giants Gaming there as well but unfortunately, they left the competitive scene of Rainbow Six and will not be participating in Stage 2 of this year’s Rainbow Six Esports Season. The tournament organizers are in the progress of allocating the replacement team.

Brazilian League

Brazilian League will run from June 19th to July 18th. Single round-robin league format and matches are Bo1 with no known prize pool amount at the moment. The teams in the Brazilian region are Black Dragons e-Sports, FaZe Clan, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Liquid, INTZ, MIBR, Team oNe eSports, W7M Gaming, Santos e-Sports, FURIA Esports.

Six August Major

All that action will lead to the Six Major in August. 16 best teams in the world, 4 from each region respectively, and $500,000 worth of a prize pool. The major is also an opportunity to earn points towards the Global Rankings. More information about the major is coming, so far we know the map pool for the Major:
