Content creators within the Fortnite scene have drawn parallels between the latest season and a recent Rick and Morty teaser trailer.
Fortnite Battle Royale re-emerged as a viral sensation after releasing Chapter 2 - Season 7. Despite entering its 17th season, the team at Epic Games continues to ink exciting crossovers with various pop culture entities. Including recognizable video games and movies. More recently, the popular animated adult sitcom — Ricky and Morty — became the latest marquee collaboration in Fortnite Battle Royale. This partnership materialized with Rick Sanchez, the show’s co-star, and a wide range of other show references that only dedicated viewers would recognize.
It seemed that the Rick and Morty crossover began and ended with what Epic Games offered in the Season 7 Battle Pass, but that might be inaccurate. Some Fortnite superfans on Twitter have found evidence pointing toward more of the show’s character joining Season 7, and it seems plausible.

With the help of other Fortnite creators, HYPEX produced quite an interesting screenshot. It draws exciting parallels between the Battle Royale title and the latest Rick and Morty Season 5 trailer. The image above includes two props from Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 7.
The one depicted to the left includes the belt of Mr. Nimbus, an underwater character from Rick and Morty, who will make his show debut in Season 5. We can see two eels and some sort of conch shell captured from an underground process in Fortnite’s latest season on the top right. Those same props appear in the same Rick and Morty teaser, held by Morty’s sister, Summer Smith. This evidence seems to indicate that she and Mr. Nimbus could enter Fortnite at some point this season.
Ultimately, we’ll have to wait and see what Epic Games has in store for the remainder of Chapter 2 - Season 7. But the above examples seem to lay the foundation of further Rick and Morty crossovers.
