Google Pixel 6 getting new wireless charger?

Google Pixel 6 could reportedly get a new wireless charger.

The upcoming device could get a charging boost via new cooling fans which may give the handset an improvement on the Pixel 5's 12W support.

As reported by 9to5Google, code in the second Android 12 beta mentions fans - which would dissipate heat from both the charger and device.

The code also suggests the fans can quiet down if Google Assistant is woken up, if the handset is in 'Bedtime mode', or if the user is recording a conversation on their phone.

There could be a choice of settings as well, including auto, quiet and power boost.

It's said the charger currently has the codename 'Luxuryliner', which would make it a likely successor to the Pixel Stand (Dreamliner).
