Gambit faced Na’Vi on two occasions in the tournament. Their first encounter in the Upper Bracket Finals set the stage for Na’Vi to take revenge for their defeat. However, Na’Vi failed to win against an in-form Gambit team.

The first match on Dust 2 saw Gambit taking an early lead in the game and finishing the first half 10-5. Na’Vi’s pistol round on the terrorist side did not go well and Gambit took the opening round. Although Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and his team played well enough to make a decent comeback in the game, it was not enough as Gambit took the first game 16-12.

The second match on Mirage looked good for Na’Vi as they took the first three rounds on the CT side. However, Gambit played smartly to infiltrate Na’Vi’s defense in the rounds to slowly make their way back and finish the first half 8-7. The second half was disappointing for Na’Vi who failed to execute sites perfectly. Gambit won the match 16-11.

The Russian team’s performance has been incredible. However, it was Abay "Hobbit" Khassenov who was named the MVP of the tournament, thanks to his exceptional gameplay and consistency in the competition.
