Fortnite x O2 Brings Players An Interactive Music Adventure

Epic Games has partnered with O2 and English alternative R&B group “Easy Life” to produce an interactive concert experience within Fortnite Battle Royale’s Creative Mode.

The O2 Island venue is where the musical adventure will occur. Players can expect to enjoy mini-games, tunes, rides and more. Additionally, some free in-game cosmetics such as a lobby track and spray are up for grabs as part of the collaborations. ESTNN has all of the details for the O2 experience!

O2 Musical Adventure Featuring Easy Ride

The event is due to begin on June 24, at which point players can navigate to the Creative Hub and enter the O2 Island code to start their adventure. Epic Games released a blog post, which summarizes what participants can expect when dropping in on the custom-designed island:

The Venue: At The O2 Island in Creative, you can find mini-games, rides, and other attractions. To get there, players can enter a portal in the Welcome Hub or enter the Creative Island code 2500-3882-9781.

Easy Life Performs: Starting at 3:30 PM ET on June 24, 2021, a portal will open up at The O2 Island, leading to a show by the breakout band easy life. You’ll also be able to access the show via the “EASY LIFE AT THE O2” playlist tile or a featured portal in the Welcome Hub.

No Ordinary Show: As you interact with the show, you’ll be taken on a helter-skelter ride into the imagination of easy life. It’s a full-on interactive experience where you'll constantly be on the move!

The show will feature songs from easy life’s new album “life’s a beach.” With a set length of approx. 20 minutes, players have an eventful journey to look forward to in Creative.

Free Cosmetics

In addition to the information above, players can redeem the “Squeezy Life” spray code in-game. ESTNN has already constructed a helpful guide for those looking to unlock it. All players who complete the O2 Experience will receive the “UFOs & Aliens” Lobby Track. If you miss the event’s first run on June 24, Epic Games will continue re-runs until June 27.

Creators can also post their reactions on YouTube with full monetization. However, this opportunity is open only to those with a Support-A-Creator (SAC) Code. Here are some helpful tips direct from Epic’s blog post:

In order to monetize their easy life at The O2 content, SAC members need to link their YouTube and Support-A-Creator accounts.

IMPORTANT: When uploading the content to YouTube, be sure to upload it as Unlisted or Public. If you upload the video as Private, it is possible you could receive a monetization claim on your video.

For uploading the content on other platforms, refer to your channel’s platform policies for tips on how to avoid copyright strikes.

Not in SAC? Don’t worry, you can still share your highlights from the experience. However, you will not be able to monetize this content on YouTube.

Twitch streamers should approach with caution. Epic Games cannot protect against the recent influx of DMCA strikes, and they suggest muting VODs or deleting them to prevent a channel violation.
