CoD: Mental Replaces Cheen on LA Guerrillas Starting Roster

The Guerrillas bring a rookie onto the squad.

The Los Angeles Guerrillas struggled in Stage 4 as they finished with a 1-6 record. Their one win came against their rivals, LA Thieves, after they had to make a roster change just minutes before the match. Due to their poor performances, the Guerrillas have made a roster change.

From Gears of War to Call of Duty

Billy “MentaL” Putnam is a former Gears of War professional player who joined the LA Guerrillas academy roster at the start of this season. Recently, he has been performing well in Challengers, and thus LAG have called him up to the starting roster.

This move sees MentaL replace Cheen. This has confused some of the community, with Cheen seeming to be LAG's best player since his arrival to the squad. After finishing 3rd in the most recent Challengers Open, Mental is looking to prove himself in the pro league, and secure his spot for next year.
