Jennifer Aniston: I'm in a really peaceful place

Jennifer Aniston is in "a really peaceful place".

The 'Morning Show' star admitted she has got "a lot out of therapy" in her life, and the 52-year-old star feels as though she is a "very fortunate and blessed human being".

She said: "I'm in a really peaceful place. I have a job that I love, I have people in my life who are everything to me, and I have beautiful dogs.

"I'm just a very fortunate and blessed human being.

"Self-awareness is key. I've really gotten a lot out of therapy. Just being a public person, there's a lot of amazing things that come with that.

"But there's also a lot of tough stuff, because we're only human, and we tend to walk around with bullseyes on our heads."

Part of Jennifer's wellbeing routine is to meditate on a daily basis, and she also loves to relax by watching the sun set of an evening.

She said: "For me, I meditate every day - and sitting quietly, writing.

"That's enough. And any kind of yoga practice is my meditation. I just have faith in a bigger picture, I guess.

"And I believe in humanity, even though there's so much to discourage us from believing in it - but I do."

Speaking about watching the sun setting each evening, she told PEOPLE: "It's my favourite moment. I wish we could freeze time in that magic hour because there's a lot of taking it all in, the appreciation of the day and what's happening."

While the 'We're the Millers' actress is in a great place, she was recently overcome with emotion when she returned to the 'Friends' set to film the show's reunion episode, 17 years after the series ended.

Jennifer - who played Rachel Green in the sitcom from 1994 to 2004 - explained: "It was a sucker punch in the heart in a way. It was for all of us, I think. Even Courteney we got tears out of."
