Carlin Isles is a budding superstar in rugby, and he believes that the rollercoaster of events throughout the recent pandemic has provided a foundation for perseverance, dedication and success for both his U.S. Olympic teammates as well as himself.

“I think for me it’s just probably just bringing more experience, you know I think these past few years it’s been good but you know ups and downs, and I think as a team we’ve we’ve conquered a lot. We’ve grown a lot and we’ve developed a lot you know. There’s a lot of things that’s happening, but at the same time, just our will and our ability to be able to keep our eye on the prize and I think, you know, I’m very comfortable now. I have great teammates, great staff and I think for us it’s just putting everything together and just doing what it do. So, for me, it’s just, you know, we built great cohesion in the past four years and we’ve gotten better and better every year, so it’s just putting everything together for that final moment.”
