The groups for Stage 5 are finally here.
The 2021 Call of Duty League regular season comes to a close over the next four weeks as we enter Stage 5. With valuable CDL points and cash still to be won, teams will be fighting as hard as possible in this final Stage. Last night, the groups were revealed. Here’s how they shook out.
Group A
- Atlanta FaZe
- OpTic Chicago
- LA Thieves
- New York Subliners
- Paris Legion
- London Royal Ravens
This group is full of storylines and should provide some great action. With FaZe looking to continue their dominance, OpTic searching for success online, a new look for LA Thieves and a Subliners with Asim, this group could be the group of death. However, the bottom two teams aren't just there for show either. Paris and London have both shown they can compete, and could upset some of the big teams.
Group B
- Dallas Empire
- Toronto Ultra
- Minnesota ROKKR
- Florida Mutineers
- LA Guerrillas
- Seattle Surge
While this group is also very competitive, there seems to be a solid top two in Toronto and Dallas. However, moving down the list, it seems that Minnesota, Florida, LAG and Seattle could all be fighting for that third-place spot.
Stage 5 of the Call of Duty League kicks off on Thursday, July 1, where we see the last pool play action of 2021.
