Fortnite: Guild Esports Transfers Three-Time FNCS Champ TaySon To Falcons Esports

TaySon is now a member of Falcons Esports after a transfer from Guild Esports.


Guild Esports shocked the Fortnite Battle Royale professional scene today with the transfer of three-time Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) winner Tai “TaySon” Starčič to Falcons Esports. Mere days after the world’s best Fortnite player claimed his third FNCS title, Guild reached an agreement to send TaySon to the rising Middle Eastern esports organization. TaySon spent just five months with Guild and will look to continue his dominant run in Fortnite under a new organization.

The news came through Guild Esports on Twitter. They announced that TaySon would be leaving the organization and joining Falcons Esports.

TaySon, thank you for all of the amazing moments together and we wish you all the best in your new home! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you.

Arrived as the 2X. Left as the 3X. Trophy.”

Guild did not provide a reason for the transfer. Nonetheless, Team Falcons subsequently announced their acceptance of TaySon on their roster. Before officially jumping ship, TaySon thanked Guild Esports for their support and representation.

The Middle Eastern organization promptly welcomed TaySon to the team with open arms only a few days after acquiring French standout Alexandre “Andilex” Christophe. Team Falcons’ latest pick-up is quite significant, considering TaySon is undoubtedly the best Fortnite player in the world. Fresh off an FNCS All-Star Showdown victory, TaySon is riding high into FNCS Chapter 2 - Season 7 as a three-time champion. He also claimed victory in Chapter 2 - Season 3 and Chapter 2 - Season 4.

The Slovenian phenom joins Andilex, Leothecrack and Oscar “Refsgaard” Dalgas Refsgaard as the latest addition to Falcons’ European roster. While the details are entirely unclear at this stage, TaySon has his sights set on his fourth FNCS Championship under Team Falcons.

UPDATE - TaySon Sells for $115K USD

Stock Market Wire reports that Falcons Esport bought TaySon from Guild for $115K USD. The article also states that the player’s contract with his previous organization was due to expire in six months. Therefore, Guild took the opportunity and compensation to free TaySon from his contract early.
