When is F1 2021 releasing?

We finally have an official release date for Codemasters' F1 2021. The cut-throat racing game will be available to players on July 16. Players will be able to enjoy new features that have been teased in the official trailer for F1 2021. The standard edition will be available for $59.99, whereas Deluxe version is priced at $74.99.

What's new in F1 2021?

F1 2021 will be the first game in the series to be published by Electronic Arts, who recently acquired Codemasters. The publisher unveiled an official teaser for the game, which features a new narrative-driven mode called Braking point, new drivers, non-drivers, and more.

Career mode will see significant changes in F1 2021. A co-op style campaign will allow friends to play together, start a race as teammates or compete with others. My Team, a two-player split-screen mode will also be returning in F1 2021, features that motor racing enthusiasts applauded in the previous version of the game.

Like older instalments, players will control such drivers as Max Verstappen, Sebastien Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, and more. While the trailer didn't give much insight into gameplay, the noted antagonist from F1 2019, David Butler, could be heard narrating the teaser. The news is undoubtedly exciting for fans who have been closely following the storylines and real-life Formula 1 sports. Players can buy premium David Butler cosmetics by grabbing the VIP Podium pass.

Butler will return from a hiatus in Braking Point, a story mode being introduced in F1 2021. This will include glamorous details about the world of Formula 1, giving a taste of "the lifestyle both on and off the track: the rivalries, emotion, and dedication needed to compete at the highest level.” Braking Point allows players to navigate the journey as Aiden Jackson, an F2 star, ascending the ranks in the hope of becoming a Formula One driver.

F1 2021 will feature a full 20-driver roster for Formula 1 as well as the 2020 Formula 2 roster. Those with the Deluxe Edition will have seven confirmed legends from F1, including Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Alain Prost, Nico Rosberg, Jenson Button, David Coulthard, and Felipe Massa.
