The Warzone Season 4 reloaded patch drops today, and with it the developers are introducing a large number of changes to a variety of weapons. Three of the most notable changes are the nerfs for the FARA 83, C58, and the FFAR 1 assault rifles that have been dominant this season. There were also numerous nerfs to various SMGs, including nerfs for the Mac-10, Fennec, and Bullfrog.
There are also buffs to some weapons, including a buff to the M60 LMG, as well as for the Krig 6 and the QBZ assault rifles.
With the sweeping changes, it's clear that Warzone's developers want to push the AR and SMG meta to change and evolve more quickly than it has across the first half of Warzone Season 4.
Assault Rifles balance changes in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
The ton of assault rifles received some type of nerf in the new patch. In most cases, they took a small hit to one or more of their damage multipliers. In a few instances, they also increased the recoil and decreased its base damage.
A few assault rifles were also buffed in the new patch. Most of the buffs were small increases to the modifiers or small improvements to the recoil pattern. In the case of the Krig 6 and the M13, the developers increased the minimum damage to make the rifles better at longer ranges.

Submachine balance gun changes in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
There were some serious nerfs handed out to SMGs like the AK-74U, the LC10, and the Mac-10 in the new patch. The changes focused on decreasing their base damage and their damage multipliers in most cases. There were also a few weapons that received some minor buffs to their minimum damage, which should make those weapons a little bit more versatile for the second half of Season 4.

LMG balance changes in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
A few LMGs were taken down a peg, while the M60 and the Light Machine Gun alpha both received significant buffs to their damage potential. Perhaps we will see less MG 34 and more M60 in the second half of Season 4.
