Dota 2: Omega Esports Released Their Full Roster

After disappointing results, Omega Esports will try to rebuild its Dota 2 team.

Omega Esports was one of the most promising teams in SEA, at least on paper. The organization acquired the Adroid Esports’ squad back in December of 2020 due to the COVID-19 financial issues.

As soon as the acquisition was completed, Omega Esports decided to make some changes. The goal was to prepare the team for the 2021 DPC, which was about to begin. Sadly, the squad was unable to live up to the expectations. Even though they played pretty well, Omega Esports managed to qualify for the SEA Lower Division Division 1.

What happened?

Despite being the underdogs, the team played really well during Season 1 of the SEA DPC Lower Division. As a result, Bryle “cml” Alvizo and the rest of his team reached the Upper Division. What was even more impressive was the fact that the team reached the top six.

Although they had high hopes for the upcoming quals for TI10, Omega Esports suffered two consecutive losses. As a result, they were eliminated.

What now?

According to the official post, the organization will try to build a new Dota 2 team for the upcoming DPC season. This means that we just have to wait and see what will happen. It should be noted that Omega Esports took part in a tournament a few days ago while testing a new roster.
