The former U.S. President Barack Obama is getting ready to throw a large outdoor party to celebrate his 60th birthday.

Obama has invited many friends to celebrate on Wednesday at his house at Martha’s Vineyard. Celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey and George Clooney have made it onto the guest list.

Obama and his family bought the property, which sits on about 30 acres on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts in 2019 for $11.75 million.

The Obamas have previously thrown large birthday bashes. Five years ago, the former president celebrated his birthday at the White House with his celebrity friends, including Magic JohnsonStevie Wonder, Ellen DeGeneres and Paul McCartney.

The White House formally announced the celebration the day it took place.

“The guest list includes a large number of family members and friends to mark the occasion. The private event will be paid for with the family’s personal funds,” read the statement.

Obama has recently been working in the entertainment industry; it was announced last week that he and Bruce Springsteen will be releasing a book. The book will be based on a podcast they worked on with Spotify and will be titled Renegades: Born in the USA.

Obama also directs a production company with the former First Lady, Michelle Obama. They have been preparing several projects in partnership with Netflix.
