Cold War will be receiving an Among Us-like mode in the next update.
Since its release, Black Ops Cold War has been one of the most played Call of Duty releases to date. With its many party modes, it’s great for casual players and allows for excellent fun.
With the success of Among Us and love for its gameplay, Call of Duty has decided to implement a new mode titled Double Agent in the next update.
What is Double Agent?
Double Agent sees players become Double Agents, Operatives, and Investigators. The job of a Double Agent is to set bombs and eliminate Operatives undercover. The Operatives are set out to track down and eliminate Double Agents, while Investigators have to find clues and assist fellow Operatives.
This game mode will allow for slow-paced, tactical gameplay in a mode vastly different from your normal Call of Duty. With its Among Us type feel, it will without a doubt pull in some major viewership online. Especially in the first few days of its release.
Double Agent will be released on August 15 along with the Season 5 update for Cold War and Warzone.
