COVID-19のパンデミックが始まったとき、RBCは長期にわたるRBC Race for the Kidsイベントシリーズを、世界を網羅するバーチャル形式へと積極的に転換し、一般の集まりで必要とされる規制に直面しながらも全世界の若者の支援継続を着実に行った。その結果、2020年は3万3000人を超える参加者によって880万ドルが集まった。若者に焦点を当てた多数の慈善パートナーにはこれまで以上に支援とサービスを提供することが求められており、そうした中で同パートナーに恩恵をもたらした。
レースの新しい方法：

＊イベント中やイベント後にアプリの拡張現実レンズのロックを解除してフェースフィルターとデジタルメダルを使い、個人のソーシャルメディア・チャンネルに投稿することもできる。
参加者は、地域の公衆衛生の助言や政府の指針を遵守しながら、単独で、または家族や友人と一緒にランニング、ウオーキング、あるいは前進するよう奨励される。
