Taylor Swift has officially joined the TikTok world!
The pop icon posted her first video to the popular social media platform on Monday, August 23, while promoting the forthcoming re-recording of her album, Red.
"Lots going on at the moment,” she captioned the clip. “Red (my version) vinyl is up for presale on my site and oh I’m on toktok now let the games begin. #SwiftTok."

The 31-year-old songstress has already garnered 59.7K followers and received 35.2K likes on the montage of videos of her singing the lyrics to the verse about her on Dave's "Screwface Capital" tune.
The "Bad Blood" artist sent Swifties into a frenzy, with fans immediately taking to the comment section to share their excitement over her presence on the platform. "TAYLOR SWIFT WORLD DOMINATION," one enthused fan wrote, while another comically added: "SHES HERE EVERYBODY STAY CALM."
Swift's version of her fourth studio album, Red (Taylor's Version), will be released on November 19 and feature 30 songs. In addition, there will be an unspecified ten-minute track, and fans are already speculating that the highly anticipated tune could be an extended version of “All Too Well.”
“Musically and lyrically, Red resembled a heartbroken person. It was all over the place, a fractured mosaic of feelings that somehow all fit together in the end. Happy, free, confused, lonely, devastated, euphoric, wild, and tortured by memories past,” the Grammy Award winner wrote in her announcement of the re-recording.
“Like trying on pieces of a new life, I went into the studio and experimented with different sounds and collaborators," she explained via her June post.
The original Red was released in October 2012, and the 16 tracks on the album were more pop focused. The standard edition consisted of some of her biggest singles including “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
After Swift announced her plan in 2019 to re-record her Big Machine Records albums — following her music ownership controversy with one of the label's most powerful managers, Scooter Braun — in order to regain artistic and financial control of her work, she gave fans a sneak peek of what's in store by dropping her first re-recorded album, Fearless (Taylor's Version).
Fearless (Taylor's Version) — which Swift dropped earlier this year — features 26 songs with an additional six new tunes that didn’t make the cut the first time around.
