Kim Kardashian Fights Back Against Disgruntled Workers' Claims She Didn't Provide Proper Breaks, Says They Were 'Fully Compensated' For Their Time

Kim Kardashian is fighting back against claims she’s a horrible boss.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum is firmly denying allegations that she didn’t provide proper lunch and rest break for the gardening crew responsible for maintaining the grounds of her lavish $60 million Hidden Hills mansion.

In court docs obtained by Radar, she issued a general denial of all the allegations, but specifically answered the points regarding the breaks. “[Kim] alleges that all relevant times herein Plaintiff [crew] were provided with the rest breaks to which they were entitled,” the docs read.

She stated the same for the meal breaks. She also claims that anytime a worker didn’t receive their proper break they were “fully compensated” for the time.

As OK! previously reported, seven disgruntled employees slapped the Skims founder with a suit earlier this year. The ex-workers claimed she failed to pay proper wages and overtime on top of them not receiving the proper breaks throughout the workday.

Adding insult to injury, the gardening crew statedthe 40-year-old reality TV icon promised them they would be hired as full-time employees only to find out they would be treated as independent contractors.

They even alleged she violated California child labor laws by having “multiple underage minors” working the grounds of her estate.

The suit, filed Monday, May 24 in Los Angeles, alleged Kardashian was late with the plaintiffs pay, withheld 10 percent of their wages for taxes — and then failed to fork over that money to the government.

Another ex-employee stated that after he brought up the unfair working conditions and shady practices, he was immediately fired.

A rep for Kanye West’s estranged ex immediately shut down the suit, saying Kardashian had no knowledge of the worker’s treatment as they were hired through a “third party vendor.”

The statement continued: "Kim has never not paid a vendor for their services and hopes that the issue between these workers and the vendor who hired them can be amicably resolved soon."
