This little robot can be your cat's new companion

The Japanese love cats... so much so that they invented little robots to keep these pampered pets busy in their absence. The Cat Jara Sitter 2.0 is one such invention, which, beneath its appearance of a connected vacuum cleaner, has the soul of a cat companion.

Designed by the company Neko No Tomosya, this little robot has no purpose other than to entertain cats. It looks like a small connected vacuum cleaner, but this little toy has holes on the side from which colorful feathers come out randomly, a game that will endlessly surprise (or annoy, depending on the cat's personality) the animal.

The Cat Jara Sitter 2.0 is actually an evolution of a product released in 2018. Quieter and with three speed settings, this version is suitable for all breeds of cats. Note that the unit is stationary and that the robot can therefore be easily positioned at a strategic place where the cat passes. In the absence of its masters, the robot can be set to be activated at regular intervals.

This unique and amusing cat toy works with batteries and is already available online for the modest sum of 3,980 yen, which is the equivalent of about 36 dollars.
