Heather Gay spilled some serious tea when she made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live this week.
According to Page Six, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member joined Andy Cohen for the Sunday, September 12, episode of the chat show and revealed that she had an idea that something was amiss with her fellow housewife Jen Shah's business.
“I knew her business was unsavory when I was her friend, so why would I change now that it’s public?” Gay explained to the Bravo boss about Shah's business operations. "I didn’t know it was illegal."
“Jen was on my podcast and I asked her for, like, an hour, questions about her business, because I love business and I know how hard it is to make money in business. It doesn’t just flow," the Beauty Lab creator dished.
Gay continued to say how confused she was over her friend's job description as she said, “I never understood it, and I just assumed it was something that was right along the line of nothing I’d want to be involved in."
Although she could never get a straight answer out of Shah, the Utah native did not think that it would end up in federal court. “I didn’t think you’d go to prison for it. I would’ve said, ‘Babe, don’t do this. Your life is worth more than that,’” she continued.
Season two of the hit reality show will heavily cover Shah's arrest for allegedly taking advantage of elderly people with a telemarketing scheme. The 47-year-old has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering.
As OK! previously reported, in the trailer for the new season, cameras rolled in the moments leading up to Shah's arrest.
