Days after Kate Quigley was hospitalized for a suspected overdose that left her in critical condition, she was seen out and about in Venice, Calif.
The comedian was spotted for the first time on Tuesday, September 14, after being released from the hospital following the incident that left three of her friends dead. According to TMZ, Quigley was seen cruising around in her convertible and stopping at a barbershop for a brief chat, before getting back on the road.
The blonde babe seemed to be doing OK, as she rocked a casual outfit for her day out, wearing a black graphic T-shirt, cut-off jean shorts, a baseball cap and flip flops.
As OK! previously reported, Quigley was rushed to the hospital on Friday, September 3, after the police got a call about a possible overdose situation at a party in Venice Beach, Calif. Stand-up comedians Fuquan Johnson, 42, Natalie Williamson, 33, and Enrico Colangeli, 48, were found dead at the scene while Quigley was still alive.
The crew reportedly ingested fentanyl-laced cocaine, but the autopsies are underway for the late comedians' official cause of death.
The 39-year-old revealed she was discharged from the hospital on Saturday, September 11, and thanked her fans for the outpouring of love amid the troubling time.
In a statement shared to Twitter over the weekend, she wrote she is "incredibly grateful to be surrounded by a strong community of friends, family, colleagues, and fans who have offered their support during this time; and to the team of paramedics, nurses, and doctors who saved my life."
Quigley has since addressed the horrifying incident, saying she is grateful to still be breathing while mourning the deaths of Johnson, Williamson and Colangeli. Responding to a Twitter user who asked how she was feeling, Quigley insisted life must go on following her scare, writing: "No use in not living when I am lucky enough to be alive!!"
