Brian Laundrie’s family has broken their silence in regards to their son's fiancée Gabby Petito’s death.
“May Gabby rest in peace,” the family of the person of interest in Gabby’s mysterious death said in a statement released on Wednesday, September 22.

Following the short comment, the dead influencer’s uncle fired off scathing remarks attacking the Laundrie family lawyer Steven Bertolino.
Steve Petito accused the attorney of being “as guilty and complicit” in what he calls a “massive cover-up,” reported Radar.
Taking to his Instagram, Steve reposted an article with the headline reading, “Laundrie family lawyer releases statement after FBI positively identifies Petito body,” before taking aim at Bertolino.
“As far as the law is concerned this law firm may be immune due to attorney/client privilege,” he wrote. “But in the eyes of the public you are as guilty and complicit with this massive cover-up and stalling tactic.”
The grieving uncle continued: “We don't require nor want you [sic] empathy. By you trying to show compassion here at this moment is beyond disgusting.”

Over the weekend, the 22-year-old budding social media influencer’s body was found in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park. Officials ruled her death as a homicide.
Gabby and Laundrie were on a cross-country excursion since early July. Relatives last spoke with the bubbly blonde on August 25, when she was near Jackson, Wyoming.
The 23-year-old returned home without his girlfriend earlier this month in the white Ford Transit van they had been traveling in. Gabby was reported missing on September 11 — 10 days after Laundrie returned to Florida.
Laundrie refused to cooperate with authorities before disappearing altogether. He was last seen on Tuesday, September 14 by members of his family. Laundrie has not yet been named a suspect in the case.
