Brian Laundrie's Cell Phone In FBI Possession As Manhunt Continues

Brian Laundrie’s cell phone is reportedly in the possession of the FBI.

According to reports from The Sun, the Laundrie’s family lawyer Steven Bertolino confirmed that the FBI has the missing person of interest’s cell phone.

The update comes after it was revealed that the fugitive’s parents, Christopher and Roberta Laundrie were “very concerned” for their son, who apparently left his phone behind before disappearing.

The search for Gabby Petito’s fiancé has been ongoing for days, and Duane “Dog” Chapman just recently joined the hunt.

The Dog the Bounty Hunterstar claimed to already have received thousands of tips regarding Brian’s whereabouts — and he thinks he will be getting close soon.

According to reports from TMZ, the TV personality allegedly obtained information pointing to a remote location where he believes the fugitive is located.

As OK! previously reported, Chapman claimed that he wanted to meet Brian’s dad as he believes that many parents of missing kids accused of a crime usually know where their children are.

“50 percent of the time,” parents know where the kids are,” Chapman said on The Dr. Ozshowon Tuesday, September 28. “35 percent of the parents help,” he added.

The Laundries have not been especially cooperative since the disappearance of Petito, who was engaged to their son.

According to Richard Stafford, the lawyer for the Petito family said that the Laundries “did not help us find Gabby,” so they weren’t expecting the couple to be particularly helpful in finding Brian, either.

The Laundrie’s lawyer claimed the pair have been cooperating with the FBI, but only on matters regarding their son’s safety.
