Meghan King Shares Photo From Surprise Wedding With Joe Biden's Nephew Cuffe Owens, Adds His Last Name To Her Social Media Accounts

Meghan Kingis officially an Owens.

The former Real Housewives of Orange Countystar tied the knot with her new hubby Cuffe Owens over the long holiday weekend.

On Monday, October 11, the pair said “I do” at Cuffe’s childhood home in Kennett Square, Pa., with an intimate ceremony limited to just family.

King confirmed the exciting news when she posted sweet snaps from the surprise wedding to her social accounts.

“We just knew,” she captioned the post on Monday night. "Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Owens."

The reality star also changed her last name on both her Twitter and Instagram accounts to include her new moniker.

While the ceremony was described as a “small, family wedding,” the groom had some high-profile names on the guest list.

Cuffe’s uncle, President Joe Biden, along with his wife and First Lady Jill Bidenwere both reportedly in attendance for the nuptials, the White House announced on Monday.

The newlyweds’ whirlwind romance progressed quickly, as the pair only went public about their relationship last month.

King first revealed that she was dating the President’s nephew when she posted an Instagram picture with her arms around the Los Angeles-based attorney.

“Trying my best to avoid any cheesy introductions like ‘my main squeeze’...so just meet my man. ❤️,” she wrote at the time.

But the former TV personality insists that the couple, who originally met on a dating app, knew right away that they wanted to spend forever together.

“Within a week [of meeting], we were back on the East Coast, meeting his family, and starting to plan our future together,” King told Bridesmagazine. “We didn’t leave each other’s side for weeks.”

King also revealed that the pair said their vows on the same day as Owens’ parents' anniversary. “When we realized that Cuffe’s parents' wedding anniversary—October 11—was a holiday Monday, we both knew exactly what we were going to do, where we were going to do it, and how we were going to do it. It’s a beautiful thing to see eye-to-eye with each other as we do," she said.

King also told the outlet that the wedding was planned by the mom of the groom Valerie Owens — who President Biden's sister — along with Owens’ sisters, Missy and Casey.

“Having it planned by and for our family, with our complete and total trust, probably couldn’t reflect more who we are as a couple,” King added.

King was formerly married to baseball player Jim Edwards, with whom she shares three children: Aspen, 4, and twins, Hayes and Hart, 3.

All of her little kiddos were also involved in the ceremony on Monday.
