C8 CORVETTE Z06 REVEAL: CHEVROLET DEALERS TO HOST WATCH PARTIES

The 2023 Corvette Z06 reveal is just around the corner, taking place on October 26. The debut will take place at noon Eastern Time from the comforts of one’s own home, since it will be streamed on the official Chevrolet website. In addition, now we know that dealers will be able to organize watch parties with their customers for the unveiling of the new supercar.

According to the MidEngineCorvetteForum, Chevrolet has put together a Launch Party Guide for dealerships looking to get involved in the excitement, including email templates to invite select customers to the virtual webcast reveal. They have also put together social media posts to help promote the reveal, but we doubt the Z06 needs much promotion given the hype surrounding the supercar already.

2023 Corvette Z06 Reveal: The Details

We know that the C8 Corvette Z06 debut will open with a “feature film” that will likely showcase the vehicle in the Circuit of the Americas, Le Mans, and the Nurburgring. It won’t be surprising if the film showcases dramatic sounds from the 5.5L LT6 flat-plane crank DOHC V8 engine, which we’ve gotten teases of in previous videos. After the reveal video, the 2023 Corvette Z06 will hold a live panel section featuring members of the Corvette team, likely including executive chief engineer Tadge Jeuchter and marketing frontman Harlan Charles. We know the C8 Corvette Z06 will be revealed sitting alongside the C8.R, so it may not be surprising if we see the Corvette Racing team members as well.

The C8 Corvette Z06 completely rethinks the original formula, with a 600-plus horsepower DOHC V8, dual-clutch eight-speed transmission, electronic limited-slip rear differential, center-mounted exhaust, a wild aerodynamics package, and train-stopping brakes. It’s a supercar that’s sure to turn some heads, and break multiple records. But the big question is: will you be able to afford it?
