Dorinda Medley is "Making It Nice" just in time for Halloween!

The former Real Housewives of New York star brought OK! inside her iconic Blue Stone Manor home (virtually, of course) as she prepares for the spooky season with smart home gagets from Amazon — all while giving her best tips for throwing a fun-filled holiday bash.

"It's all about the effort you put into it," Medley — who also reveals that she is hosting a Dracula-themed gathering this year — explains. "Make sure you have a theme and make sure that by the time your guests get there, you can enjoy so that you're not wandering around like a crazy person."

The Make It Nice author has gotten used to having many iconic Housewives visit her Massachusetts residence — and when asked which star from the franchise she would find the most interesting to host at her home in the Berkshires, she picked one from another hit series.

"I really love Phaedra Parks. I think she's smart. I think she's funny. I think she's witty, she's subtle. I just find her very entertaining," Medley dishes about the former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member. "She reminds me of me a little bit."

The Dorobics instructor — who spent six seasons on RHONY — also opened up about the newest phase of her life, now that she's stepped away from filiming the hit Bravo series.

"You know I was lucky because I was on pause and the world was on pause," Medley says of announcing her departure in August 2020. "So it made the landing a little bit easier."

The fan favorite feels that this break was the perfect time to seek out other life experiences, too. "It was a great opportunity to grow my brand and work with great companies like Amazon," Medley adds. "I would have never had this opportunity."
