Brooke Hoganis telling-all about her life since her days on reality television.
The former Hogan Knows Best star sat down for an interview with the Hollywood Raw podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn where the 33-year-old opened up about everything from her financial journey — to her family's numerous headline-making scandals.
"Nobody knows this at all, you guys are probably the first people I've told, I actually went and I waited tables at the JW Marriott and I was a cocktail server," Brooke —who also starred in her own 2008 spin-off show Brooke Knows Best — surprisingly revealed to the podcasters. "And I will tell you and I tell everybody this, I had the best time of my life doing that."
The "Everything To Me" singer explained that although she has worked on many successful projects that have done well — the former VH1 personality has gone through times when she had nothing. "There was a time when I made a lot of money on TV and there was a time when I was broke as hell," Brooke said.
"From that time when I was broke down, I built myself back up. So I built my design business. I did the waiting tables thing, I did what I had to do and I didn't want to ... I didn't want to be that person," the actress explained adding that she never wanted to ask her father — Hulk Hogan — for money.
"He's been through so much crap already that the last thing he needs is a kid that's like, 'Hey, can I have the credit card?,'" Brooke continued.
Hulk has seen his fair share of drama in the last ten years. In 2016, the retired professional wrestler was awarded a whopping $115 million in damages after the website Gawker posted a two-minute video in 2012 of Hulk during a sexual encounter —that he did not know was being videotaped — with wife Linda Hogan's best friend Heather Cole.
Hulk and Linda — who also share 31-year-old son Nick — divorced in 2009. Brooke revealed "Our family has been through a lot of crap and I will say, my dad, despite ... It's hard to have all your skeletons pulled out of your closet and just waved in front of everybody's face and humiliated to the world and then our family just go through all this stuff."
"I talked to him yesterday," the model said of her 68-year-old father — who has been known to go on the occasional rant. "I said, 'It has to be so hard for you because it's like you've got so many people poking at you, poking at you, poking at you and you can never poke back. You can never say, 'Yeah, I messed up, but this person did this too,'" Brooke said.
