FORD MAVERICK DRAGG BEACH RESCUE CONCEPT IS HERE TO SAVE THE SEMA SHOW

Watch out Baywatch. In a collaboration between Oxnard Union high school and their police department, the after school program “Drag Racing Against Gangs and Graffiti,” or DRAGG for short, have come up with a beach rescue concept truck utilizing the 2022 Ford Maverick pickup truck. The DRAGG program is aimed at putting industry professionals, local police, and at-risk youth all on the same team and encourage a career in the automotive industry. Their combined efforts yield a 2021 SEMA Show worthy Ford Maverick concept truck that may or may not end up being utilized as a real world option.

Ford Maverick DRAGG SEMA 2021 Concept: The Details

The truck itself sports a two-tone silver and yellow body color with bright yellow “Lifeguard Rescue” logos as well as police lighting where the fog lights would be placed and off road cube lights. The Maverick is also set up with a Ford Accessories topper and toolbox swing cases, roof rack, and crossbars. For the water missions it will encounter, the Maverick is equipped with a watersports carrier as well as a sunshade. On the inside the front seats are covered with CoverKing Neosupreme.
