While the legal battle is far from over for the TV personality, she recently told Extracorrespondent Teddi Mellencamp that she is feeling much better as of late.

“Life is good,” she said during an appearance at costar Kyle Richards’ new retail store’s grand opening. “Everything is turning in a positive direction.”

“It feels so good to have the season over...and just be on a much lighter path,” Jayne told Mellencamp at the event.

The former Broadway star showed up to the event on Friday, November 5, to support her fellow Housewife in her new business venture, despite the tension that unravelled between the pair during the reunion special last month.

Mellencamp also took the opportunity to ask about Jayne’s love life as she awaits the finalization of her divorce from the former lawyer.

“Every guy wants to know, what’s going on?,” Mellencamp said, to which Jayne cheekily responded: “Slide into my DMs and you’ll find out.”

“Oh, nobody’s sliding into my DMs — what do I need to do?” Mellencamp joked, as she is already happily married to Edwin Arroyave.

“Get a divorce!” Jayne quipped back.

The “Roller Coaster” singer also explained in the interview that she was wishing the best to her pal Dorit Kemsley, who recently experienced a terrifying home invasion.

“I’m shocked at her strength and how she’s continued to show up,” Jayne said of Kemsley following the incident. “We know each other really well as a friend group, and to see one of us really just go through that kind of trauma is really heartbreaking.”

Kemsley’s home was broken into on October 27, where the TV personality was reportedly robbed while being held at gunpoint.
