Jill & Jedidiah Duggar Expected To Appear In Court To Testify In Brother Josh Duggar’s Child Pornography Trial

Two of Josh Duggar’s siblings are expected to testify in court in their brother’s child pornography trial.

Josh, 33, was arrested back in April and charged with two counts of possessing and receiving child pornography. His trial kicked off on Tuesday, November 30, where it was revealed that Jill Duggar, 30,and Jedidiah Duggar, 22,would be testifying as witnesses in the case later this week.

According to a report from The Sun, the judge presiding over the case read the siblings’ name out loud to ask if any of the jurors knew them, but none did.

Jill — who has been married to Derick Dillard since 2014 — previously admitted to having an estranged relationship with other members of her family.

After deciding to take a step back from their spinoff show Counting On, Jill — who was one of the sisters that Josh allegedly molested in their sleep — explained in a YouTube video earlier this year that she hasn’t returned to her family home “in years.”

“There’s a lot of triggers there,” her husband said in the clip. It is unclear whether or not Jill and her brother Jedidiah will be testifying for the defense of the prosecution.

As OK! previously reported, Josh’s father Jim Bob Duggar also took the stand in court as he appeared in a pre-trial hearing on Monday, November 29.

The former 19 Kids and Counting Star, 56, was reportedly asked about his son’s alleged history of sexual misconduct, specifically the 2006 police report detailing his abuse toward some of his own sisters.

Jim Bob claimed that he “can’t remember” the details of the report, and that it was “tabloid information,” despite his son’s previous confession that he inappropriately touched minor girls.

“He told me that he had touched some of the girls when they were sleeping on the breasts...they didn’t wake up,” Jim Bob told the court on Monday, explaining that he and his wife Michellewere “shocked this had happened, but we were thankful he came on his own and told us.”

It has not yet been ruled whether or not Josh’s previous molestation scandal will be used against him in his current trial, although the prosecution believes that the past incident shows “motive” and “lack of mistake” that are relevant to the matter at hand.
