Week 15 Fantasy Football Sleepers

With Week 15 now officially here in full, happy first week of the fantasy playoffs. For those owners who qualified for their league’s postseason play, navigating this week and finding favorable matchups will present a challenge for owners. Covid-19 is beginning to run wild through the league once again. There have been over 100 players placed into protocols over the last three days. However, with bye weeks now a thing of the past, many players still have sneaky upside as streamable options to help you win your respective matchup.

Back with our sleepers article, our picks shined a week ago. Jimmy Garoppolo guided the San Francisco 49ers to a crucial win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He completed 27 of his 41 throws for 296 yards while also tossing two touchdowns. Furthermore, Russell Gage hauled in four receptions for 64 yards, while Gerald Everett added in a touchdown catch in the Seattle Seahawks victory over the Houston Texans.

Be sure to keep up with all of our Fantasy Football coverage.

Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers

Garoppolo has been as reliable as they come over the last two months of the season. He has averaged over 261 passing yards per contest. Along with this, he has tossed multiple touchdown scores in five of his last seven games. This has led the former second-round pick to finish outside the top 16 quarterbacks just once over that stretch of time. In a matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, stream him if you need help at the position.

Arthur Smith’s team has allowed 258.4 yards through the air on nearly 25 pass attempts per contest. Along with this, the group has given up two passing scores on average, leading to 23.8 fantasy points surrendered. The 30-year-old is surrounded by all of his weapons after the team battled the injury bug early on. He should be viewed as a comfortable QB1 in your lineup.

Justin Fields, Chicago Bears

Fields has come alive in his last three games after a slow start to his rookie season. The Ohio State alumn has finished as fantasy QB5 and QB10 twice. Strong against the Green Bay Packers in a divisional battle on Sunday Night Football a week ago, the 22-year-old tossed for 224 yards and two touchdowns. Along with this, he added 74 yards on the ground on nine carries. Set to square off against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football in Week 15, start him.

Forced to dial back their hyper-aggressive blitz schemes in 2021, Mike Zimmer’s team has struggled mightily in the secondary. The group has allowed over 271 passing yards per game. Furthermore, they have also surrendered 25 rushing yards on average to opposing quarterbacks on 5.2 carries. With a comfortable floor as a result of his steady numbers on the ground, Fields is a high-end QB2/low-end QB1 this week.

Loading…### DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins

Parker has enjoyed an up and down 2021 campaign with the Dolphins. Hindered by a hamstring injury, he has appeared in just six games for the team. Returning from a month-long hiatus a week ago, the 28-year-old caught five passes for 62 yards in the team’s win over the New York Giants. Now likely to be without top wide receiver Jaylen Waddle on Sunday after he was placed on the Covid-19 reserve list, play Parker in a divisional showdown against the New York Jets.

Once again enjoying a miserable season, the Jets have allowed 10.8 receptions, leading to 147.3 yards per game to wideouts. Along with this, they have also given up nine touchdown catches to the position through 14 weeks. Thin in the secondary, Robert Saleh’s group lacks the talent in the back end to slow down Tua Tagovailoa and company. Owned in just 57-percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues, start Parker as a WR3.

D’Onta Foreman, Tennessee Titans

Foreman had just 47 yards a week ago, just after a big game against the New England Patriots. Adding in a touchdown on the ground, the 25-year-old back once again saw the Titans backfield turn into a committee after the return of Jeremy McNichols. The most consistent contributor of the group, in the absence of Derrick Henry, start Foreman against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Carved on the ground on Thursday Night Football a week ago, Mike Tomlin’s team allowed Dalvin Cook to rush for 205 yards. Pittsburgh now ranks 30th in the league in yards allowed per game on the ground. Additionally, they have given up the seventh-most fantasy points per contest to the position all year long. With plenty of opportunities likely to be present in the red zone, he is a solid RB3 in deeper leagues.

Ricky Seals-Jones, Washington Redskins

Without Logan Thomas, after he was placed on the season-ending injured reserve list, Seals-Jones will look to handle the bulk of the snaps at tight end down the stretch for the Football Team. Stepping up in the absence of Thomas earlier on in the season, the 26-year-old caught four passes for 58 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Fresh off one of the worst performances of his 2021 campaign a week ago, the 26-year-old hauled in just one reception for eight yards.

However, the five-year veteran will benefit from a favorable matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15. In tough against the tight end position all year long, the team is giving up 18.1 fantasy points per game. With Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel both questionable heading into the matchup, expect Seals-Jones to see a high volume of targets. An intriguing streaming option for owners in need of help at the spot this week. Start Seals-Jones as a solid TE2.
