1000+ HP C7 CORVETTE ZR1 HEADING TO AUCTION

Barrett-Jackson will kick off 2022 at the end of January and a one of a kind 2019 C7 Corvette ZR1 will be featured, with no reserve. This ZR1 Corvette boasts $65,000 worth of add-ons. What does that mean when it comes to power and performance? Try 1,050 horsepower.

On the outside, this super C7 features a light blue wrap around an originally black paint color and sports carbon fiber accouterments including a sizable rear wing, side splitter, and front splitter.The interior is all black with carbon fiber trim as well. There are also special ZR1 badging along the hood and rear of the car.

Another exterior feature that might stick out to you at first glance are the massive rear tires. In order to handle the enormous power output, the owner armed the ZR1 with a Carlyle Racing 15-inch conversion kit that includes two solid rotors, two 4-piston calipers with pads, and two adjustable lower control arms. The rear 15-inch Forgeline GS1R beadlock wheels are wrapped in meaty Hoosier drag radials while the front carries 18-inch wheels wrapped in Hankook rubber. As a drag racer, we’re not sure why this ZR1 has the high-wing spoiler, but it can be easily removed when the occasion calls for it.

Under The Hood Of This C7 Corvette ZR1:

As mentioned, this C7 Corvette ZR1 produces 1,050 horsepower and 980 ft/lbs of rear wheel torque. Even so, its long block modified LT5 engine that is rated for 1,400 horsepower. Not to be too picky, this 1,050 hp Corvette can run on MS109 racing fuel or regular E85 gasoline.

According to the listing, this ZR1 received treatment from Cordes Performance Racing shop in Arizona, nationally considered to be one of the best GM performance shops out there. The supercharger received even further special treatment getting work done by Synergy Motorsports in Irvine California. Their LT5 ported blowers are known to supply the most horsepower on the platform. In a nutshell, nothing was overlooked when piecing this scream machine together.
