SAY HELLO TO THE MEGAREXX MEGABRONC

While we may never get to see a production Ford Bronco with a V8 under the hood, or a Bronco pickup, or Bronco Raptor pickup, there are some emerging alternatives are out there. Engine swapping may be difficult with how little room is under the hood, but you could transform a Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab Lariat to look more like a Bronco with custom body paneling. MegaRexx has been able to do that and, in turn, created the ultimate Bronco. Dubbed the MegaBronco, it’s a full-sized 7 passenger truck capable of venturing off into some of the world’s most rugged places.

Suppose we shouldn’t be surprised that a build this radical comes from the same folks that offer what’s come to be known as the Mega Raptor: a Super Duty-based dune-running truck, pictured below next to the MegaBronc.

Ford Super Duty + Bronco x Insanity = MegaBronc

The MegaRexx MegaBronc is equipped with a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel engine that produces 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. The exterior of the MegaBronc features hand-laid fiberglass hood, front fenders, and bedsides which gives the truck its off-road looks. Meanwhile, the front grille features integrated bronco LED headlights and signal lights, while the custom front bumper has an integrated 20″ LED light bar. The vehicle rides on 4.5″ Icon progressive front coil springs, and 5″ multi-leaf rear springs help provide lift. The MegaBronc is also equipped with Ford’s rear spring bump stops to allow owners to fully adjust the rear height. Satin black 20″ MR605 method Race Wheels wrapped with aggressive 40″ Atturo Trail Blade Mud-Terrain tires ensures that owners can easily tackle any obstacle.

MegaRexx MegaBronc Interior & Third Row Seating

The Interior of the MegaRexx MegaBronc is finished with stunning Lithium Gray and Ebony Black micro-perforated leather. The second-row bucket seats are exact matches of the driver and passenger seats. At the same time, the third row features power-folding seats and matching upholstery which is nestled under a fully removable fiberglass hardtop and steel safety cage. In addition, its factory-equipped TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission offers selectable drive modes. Other features found on the MegaRexx MegaBronc include:

  • FX4 Off-Road Package
  • Blind Spot Information System
  • Power panoramic dual moonroof
  • Heated and cooled seats
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Keyless entry with remote start
  • Rearview camera
  • Reverse sensors
  • MegaRexx stronger and longer radius arms
  • King reservoir shocks
  • Icon dual steering stabilizers
  • Icon adjustable track bars
  • “And More”

To compensate for the larger wheel and tire package offered with the MegaBronc, MegaRexx has re-geared the Dana 60 front and rear differentials to 4:56 gears. However, finding trails where you can take the monstrous MegaBronc will be marginally difficult as the front and rear fenders add an extra 8″ to the vehicle’s width. Suppose you’ll want to play in wide open spaces with this one.
