Britney Spears and her fiancé Sam Asghari had a romantic post Christmas date night.
In photos obtained by TMZ, the pop star, 40, and the actor, 27, were spotted dining at the West Hollywood hotspot Catch on Monday, December 27 — the same restaurant where the two celebrated the end of her 11-year-long conservatorship last month.
As Britney made her way into the chic eatery — that was crawling with paparazzi — she rocked a tan skin tight mini dress along with a pair of light brown pumps. Sam stayed warm in a white puffer vest and an all black ensemble.
The soon-to-be married couple's night out took place right before Britney took to Instagram to slam her family for "hurting" her.
The "Toxic" singer wrote in part: "From every angle I was being hurt for no reason and my family was hurting me. They say go to the source for healing .... the person who hurt you ... go to them and tell them ... I've never gotten to do that."
This comes as Britney's pals have revealed that they fear that she has swapped controlling former conservator, father Jamie Spears, with her fiancé.
As OK! previously reported, the people closest to the "Gimme More" artist have been worried that her Can You Keep a Secret? star partner has become "all she has."
"Sam is now the boss," a source told Radar. "Understandably, after everything she has been through Britney doesn’t trust a lot of people which is why she is relying so heavily on Sam."
"He is literally all she has. When her dad was removed so was the entire team he had built up around her," the insider dished to the outlet. "Britney is the most successful pop star in the world that has no manager or people helping her navigate the business."
However, her man sees why people who care about her may be alarmed: "Sam is a good man, but he wants to be her husband not her manager." The source continued, "He understands the power of being engaged to someone so powerful. Britney is a cash machine. After what happened with her dad, he knows why people are frightened.”
