Kanye West was seen partying with Instagram model Yasmine Lopez as his estranged wife Kim Kardashiantries to make progress with their divorce.
Nearly a year after the former couple called it quits on their marriage, the 44-year-old rapper was seen hitting up a party in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, December 28, where he was spotted hanging out with the brunette bombshell, per TMZ.
He reportedly showed up to the event with Justin LaBoy at James Harden's Thirteen Restaurant to celebrate J Mulan's birthday, where he was seen having a good time with Lopez standing close by.
The sighting comes just weeks after Kardashian, 41, filed a request to be declared single as the rapper continues to drag his feet with the divorce proceedings.
On Friday, December 10, the reality star filed papers for her marital status to be changed and for her maiden name to be restored while claiming that "no counseling or reconciliation effort," will be able to save their marriage at this point.
Despite the Yeezy designer's former pleas for Kardashian to "run right back" to him, the SKIMS founder maintains that the pair have "irreconcilable differences," preventing them from salvaging their romantic relationship as they continue to co-parent their four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3 and Psalm, 2.
"I have been attempting to settle our dissolution with [Kanye] since I filed for divorce in February 2021," she wrote in the docs. "I have requested several times that [Kanye] agree to bifurcate and terminate our marital status. [He] has not responded to my request."
"[Kanye] and I both deserve the opportunity to build new lives. Therefore, I am asking that my request to bifurcate and terminate our marital status be granted," the TV personality concluded.
Meanwhile, Kardashian is rumored to be heating things up with new beau Pete Davidson, who a source claimed is "exactly what Kim needed after her divorce — someone to make her laugh and just have a fun time with."
The mom-of-four has also reportedly been hunting for apartments in NYC to be closer to the SNL star as the new couple continue to make moves in their newfound relationship.
