Xiaomi is creating a stir by unveiling a new connected watch in China that is stylish, powerful and very affordable. As we wait for it to arrive in other countries, let's take a look at the Watch S1, which boasts no less than 12 days of battery life, something that should make the competition nervous.
Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has just presented all its new products for the end of the year, intended primarily for the Chinese market, but many of which should also be available quickly in other markets around the world. Alongside its new range of smartphones Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro, the manufacturer has sparked interest with a new connected watch that offers power and in particular longevity, all at a very low price.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 is a watch with an elegant, refined design, with a leather strap, stainless steel case and sapphire crystal. This connected watch alerts you of incoming calls, displays various notifications and allows you to control your favorite apps. It's also designed to help you maintain good health as it integrates no fewer than 117 fitness modes. But the most spectacular feature is undoubtedly its autonomy, estimated by Xiaomi to be 12 days for regular use!
The watch is already priced in China at 1099 yuan, the equivalent of a little less than US$175. It is positioned in the market as an elegant and economical alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 or the Huawei Watch 3.
