だるまやお守り…「縁起物」を3単語の英語で言うと？
「だるま」を英語で説明すると…
だるまは、中国禅宗の始祖である達磨大師が座禅をする姿が描かれた張り子の人形です。
丸くて底におもり（weight）が入っているので常に起き上がり、商売繁盛・開運出世などの縁起物（good luck talisman）とされます。願掛けの際に片方に目を入れ、願いが叶えばもう一方の目を描き込むことを伝えます。
