2023 CORVETTE Z06 70TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION MAY HAVE LEAKED

It’s since been taken off the 2023 Corvette Z06 visualizer, but Chevrolet may have accidentally uploaded what appears to be the upcoming 70th Anniversary Edition. The first Corvette rolled off the line in 1953.

According to MidEngineCorvetteForum user Jeremy, the visualizer described the 2023 Corvette 70th Anniversary Edition as follows:

*Celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the quintessential American sports car with this special edition. Available in White Pearl Metallic Tri-Coat or Carbon Flash Metallic, this feature-packed edition puts our heritage on full display.*

*70th Anniversary Edition Corvettes have a unique VIN sequence and includes:*
*EXTERIOR*
*White Pearl Metallic Tri-Coat with optional Satin Matrix Gray Stripes or Carbon Flash Metallic with optional Satin Black Metallic Stripes*
*70th Anniversary Exterior Badging – Flags and Side 70th badge*
*Edge Red Brake Calipers*
*70th Anniversary Wheel Center Caps*
*Carbon Flash Wheel with Edge Red Stripe*
*Carbon Flash Mirror and Spoilers*

*INTERIOR*
*White Ceramic GT2 Seats with Red Stitching; Optional Competition Sport Seats*
*Red Seat Belts*
*Suede Interior Steering Wheel*
*70th Anniversary logo on Seats, Steering Wheel, and Sill Plates*

*ACCESSORIES*
*Edge Red Engine Cover*
*Rear Bumper Protector / Trunk Cover*
*Custom Luggage Set with Red Stitching and 70th Anniversary Logo*

Based on the digital images (are these NFTs?) the 2023 Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition will be easily identified by its unique badging, red-rimmed wheels, and white GT2 seats with red stitching. Production volume of the 2023 Corvette 70th Anniversary Edition is not yet known. The 2023 Corvette dealer order guide has not yet been published to confirm these findings, but Chevy should be making an announcement soon. The Corvette only gets one 70th anniversary year, after all.

2023 Corvette production is expected to begin May 9, 2022. Dealers will begin entering orders for the 2023 model year Corvette starting on March 24, per Chevrolet documents. Pricing, availability and other details on the 70th Anniversary Edition package are not immediately available, but stay tuned to MC&T for that news to break soon.
