FORD BRONCO EVERGLADES PARTAKES IN SNOW PLOW PRACTICE

Winter can be a fun season if you don’t have to drive or shovel the snow, but when driving, it can become extremely tedious if you don’t have the right kind of vehicle, and even then, there are still hazards to be cautious of. Luckily, with recent photos of the Ford Bronco Everglades, it looks like we can rule out the shoveling part of the equation and push through the snow instead.

Ford vehicle communications manager Mike Levine tweeted photos of the Bronco Everglades and stated that they had taken it out to the mountains above Death Valley. There’s a notorious snowdrift spot that provides perfect conditions to put the Bronco through its paces with winter trail testing. It looks like there’s plenty of snow in the pictures to bog down any typical road car. However, the Bronco Everglades is perfectly happy forging its own path through the snow in what Levine calls the “Mr. Plow test.”

2022 Ford Bronco Everglades: Details

The 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades will feature a passenger-side mounted snorkel with a trap door in the unlikely event that any mud or water enters the intake. As it stands, a Ford Bronco Sasquatch has an official water fording capability of 33.5 inches, while the base model is just less at 31.5. With the addition of a snorkel, it’s hard to say what the water fording rating is now. Next is the Warn winch, which was confirmed to be the same winch already available to Ford Bronco customers, along with the heavy-duty modular front bumper via the Ford Performance accessories catalog.

Lastly, we also know that the 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades has a set of 35-inch LT315/70R17 Goodyear Territory MT tires, unique wheels, MIC hard top, a roof rack, and a slide-out tailgate. Additionally, the 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades will only be available in a four-door model. There will also be an exclusive Desert Sand exterior color for the trim and a vinyl “Overland” Black Onyx interior option.

The 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades will hit the market this summer. So after things simmer down a bit over the Bronco Raptor, look for this special SUV to break cover.
